The Pensacola Sports Annual Awards Banquet is one of Pensacola Sports’ most high-profile events in the community. Each year we honor the finest athletes our area has to offer. Be a part of this memorable event as we celebrate a worthy slate of 2025 Special Achievement winners, the Amateur and Professional Athletes of the Year, the new class of Hall of Fame Inductees, Volunteer of the Year, and the Pensacola Sportsman of the Year.

Emily Sams

This award is given to an individual for outstanding accomplishments in athletics during the past year as a professional. This award may be given to multiple winners for one female and one male, or two joint winners if such accomplishments justify.

James Currie is a long-term friend, volunteer and former employee of Pensacola Sports, or as he knew it, Pensacola Sports Association. James retired in December after spending the past four decades dedicating himself to the organization.
